For team managers:
Q. When should we make hotel reservations; before or after we are accepted to a tournament?
A. We encourage your team to make reservations as early as possible. Hotel rates are often much cheaper when booked well in advance and finding availability at the hotel you prefer is much more likely. If your team's application is not accepted, please contact us immediately and we will cancel your reservation.
Q. Are there a minimum number of rooms that can be requested?
Q. What is the cost for this service?
A. Yes. The minimum number of rooms per night is 10. PYB Sports needs to book multiple room nights in order to negotiate the best available rates for the team or club. Keep in mind that if more than one team from your club is traveling to the same tournament, it is very possible to get cheaper room rates by combining your request.
A. None. We provide a free service to your group.
Q. What are the cancellation policies?
A. Cancellation policies vary from hotel to hotel. The hotel's cancellation information will be listed on their group contract. It is the team's responsibility to adhere to the hotel's cancellation policy.
Q. Can we make changes to our reservation after the initial booking?
A. Yes. Just contact the representative you have been working with to make the necessary changes.
Q. Can we make our hotel reservations through PYB Sports for all our tournament travels?
A. Yes and no. PYB Sports can assist you with making reservations for your travels all across the country, however, at times, specific tournaments require that you use a mandatory housing service in order to participate in the event. In those cases, in order to attend the tournament, your team would need to make accommodations through the appropriate channels.
For tournament directors:
Q. Can we use your housing service without making it mandatory for all our participating tournament teams?
A. Yes. It would be the responsibility of the tournament to list our service on the tournament website and promote it to the participating teams. However, the more teams that utilize our service the more revenue the tournament will receive.
Q. Can we make changes to our tournament listing after it has already been listed?
A. Yes. All you need to do is send us an email at email@example.com
. Tell us the name of your tournament and what needs to be revised.
Q. When does the tournament receive the rebate check from rooms booked for our event?
A. Within 45 days following the conclusion of your event.
Q. We are considering using a housing service for our event, what kind of lead time is needed to set up the service?
A. Preferably we would like 6 months, but we can set it up inside of 6 months if need be.
